Nice Unit....Low wattage....

Toaster looks nice but does not have the balls "watts" to get the job done. With a plain wheat bagel and the toaster set at its highest setting "duration", it takes twice, 2X, two cycles...... or plainly said (WAY TO LONG TO TOAST ANY KIND OF BREAD). Also Costco sells this for $19.99 + Tax of course.

Nice looking but limited

I've had this unit for a week and really, for people who basically just toast bread, it's a nice looking and efficient product. However, if you use it almost exclusively for english muffins, as we do, You'll be disappointed. the control goes from 1-5 and on 5 the english muffins, do not toast dark enough. they have to be pushed down a second time, then you need to remember to manually eject them before they burn. Many will say "use the bagel button", but all that does is toast them on one side. It doesn't elminate the problem. I've had Black & Decker toasters for years and they've been GREAT. Unfortunately B&D is now made more cheaply and is not what it used to be. But then, neither is this Hamilton Beach. Bottom line, toast? buy it! Anything else? Keep looking.

Great styling and great features. First toaster we have had that does as good a job at taosting consistantly. Love it!
