I don't do fancy. I need a toaster for Eggo waffles and simple toast and bagels. Just gimme something that toasts evenly and I'm happy. Hence, I'm happy. And I like the extra function of the levers how they will raise the items a little bit higher from the slots. I really am not a fan of shoving a fork in the toaster slot to remove a chunk of bread, so that little perk is really nice. All the slots seem to toast exactly the same on the same setting. Making a good toaster ain't rocket science; I'm glad Calphalon got it right.

I absolutely love my new toaster. I looked at other reviews and this is the toaster that I thought had the best reviews. I got it right before Christmas. Just in time for my family to come over for our bagels and English muffins before opening presents. 4 wide slots was a plus since my previous toaster was a normal 2 slot. I'm very satisfied and I will be buying another one for my step mom who has a crappy toaster. :)

Takes longer to toast than my former not-so-pretty toaster. The dial to increase toast level doesn't seem to work very well - not much difference in setting from dark to light.
